Make 2 articles?
[edit]Shouldn't the first sentence "tankard is a large drinking cup featuring a single handle, usually of silver or pewter construction." be part of another article? --IronChris 04:30, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yep go ahead. 10:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ok i've got a problem here, Alcoholic metal now redirects to Tankard (the cup) instead of Tankard (the band)... This needs to be changed but I can't figure out how to do it; I changed the redirect page but it makes no difference... --IronChris 21:52, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- As does the talk page... Jussenadv 08:25, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Tankard logo.JPG
[edit]Image:Tankard logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hi, I've proposed that Two-Faced (Tankard album) be merged into this article, if anything in the unreferenced page is worth merging. It doesn't seem to meet WP:NALBUM at all:
All articles on albums, singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines, with significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject... An album requires its own notability, and that notability is not inherited and requires independent evidence. That an album is an officially released recording by a notable musician or ensemble is not by itself reason for a standalone article. Conversely, an album does not need to be by a notable artist to require a standalone article if it meets the general notability guideline. Album articles with little more than a track listing may be more appropriately merged into the artist's main article or discography article, space permitting.

- Thanks Boleyn--it's nice to see I'm not the only one trying to prune the wild woods of tracklists and album covers. I agree with the merge proposal and would like to add that I see nothing worth merging. Drmies (talk) 01:06, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- Its a little hard to find articles about 90's albums , found a few in German metal.de anyway you can merge it until reliable sources could be found. Spada II ♪♫ (talk) 07:53, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
