Revising Article
[edit]Hello, I am user Derek.hx08 and I choose this article as part of my class requirement to revise. In particular, I plan to provide more information on the Tape v. Hurley case. Also, I will focus more on the response from Mary Tape and the school officials about the court's decision. Derek, you have good, scholarly sources and your plan fits what is required of this article, however, my Wiki Dashboard says that you have only written 77 words so far, so I am unable to give you much constructive feedback on the content of your writing. The article is comprehensive, engaging, and comes off as very neutral to me, which is a good sign for you since you can simply add to the established quality of the article. The article does not link that many other articles, and there is potential for you to add to this article in that manner. Images and media can never hurt, and if you can find a way to tie this case into others of similar nature, you can expand this article greatly. The article excels at its ability to summarize pertinent topics succinctly, and its ability to draw in other historical events. The lead is very strong and I like how it ties in the Plessy v Ferguson decision to enforce the impact of this case. I think that a way to improve this article would be to expand greatly on the impact of the ruling, or possibly compare it to other cases in the same realm. The most important thing you could do, Derek, would be to start piecing together your writing and starting small, which will help you gather momentum in the writing process. Good Luck!!
