Inaccurate information in this article
[edit]This is an email I received from Paul Fierlinger, creator of TLSG:
There are lots of blunders in there -- some sort of funny to me. The most blatant ones (I wonder who the source was) are the price and time span. It took me two months, not two years and I had a budget of $ 60,000, not a million. I wouldn't be surprised if a million dollars was the entire CTW budget for that year.

More inaccuracies
[edit]Here is another email I received from Paul:
I started writing notes but the whole thing is so convoluted and to a point that obviously someone was sabotaging it. I have no daughter, the little Jimmy Durante quote is obviously someone's attempt to make fun of Wikipedia, John Averese had nothing to do with it -- we didn't even know each other at the time ... there are names inserted in there that I never heard of before... it goes on and on and I just don't have the time to spend on this. Wikipedia has some drawbacks as I can now see and I always wondered about this.

Girl Version?
[edit]Does anyone recall a similar SS character sketch in which there was an animated girl that would speak some incantation and shrink down to pixie size? I know it was a different sketch, but similar. --Frenkmelk 22:14, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]This article needs some serious sourcing, and unfortunately, LiveJournal doesn't cut it. We have no reason to believe the person writing in the LiveJournal post about the series' creation in actually the man he claims to be. Can we find this info elsewhere? --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 09:11, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
I think Blakeops already addressed your concerns, and I had posted a lot of information from the creator himself back when I started this article. Cwolfsheep 06:04, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- How has this been addressed? By "e-mails from Paul Fierlinger"? Where can I find this in an edited, published, reliable source? --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 08:55, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Teeny.jpg
[edit]Image:Teeny.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Silvester Stallone???
[edit]The real voice actor who did the voice for Teeny, Jim Thurman, died in April of this year. I cannot find anything on IMDB or Google supporting Sly as a voice. Cwolfsheep 04:59, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Not on Pinwheel / voices
[edit]Hello,
I have asked Paul Fierlinger if TLSG aired on "Pinwheel," and he said that it did not. They were produced for CTW, and I doubt CTW would license anything to Nickelodeon for another non-CTW program. This has been an Internet misconception for years.
Also, to my knowledge, Jim Thurman performed *all* of the voices in the TLSG shorts. All these other voice credits are bunk - with the possible exception of the announcer (who is definitely not Wolfman Jack), all the voices sound to be Thurman to me...
