(See Note01) The title of this seminal work is "The City". The edited volume has often been mistakenly titled "The City: Suggestions for Investigation of Human Behavior in the Urban Environment". Confusion over this appears to stem from the fact that this is the title of "Chapter 1" (pages 1-46), written by Robert E. Park - this chapter is a modified version of Park's 1915 article in the American Journal of Sociology. --- More scholarly references can be provided to substantiate my modifications to the work's "title" and concerning the issue of 'authorship' [sic] (i.e., Park & Burgess as original editors as opposed to Park, Burgess, & 'McKenzie' in later editions).Criminologist1984 (talk) 19:53, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
