Merge with Solitary thyroid nodule
[edit]The proposal is to merge the article Solitary thyroid nodule into this article. I'm not an expert in the matter and not qualified to perform such a merge myself. --Lambiam 17:46, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Absolutely not. Solitary thyroid nodule is a clinical entity , where thyroid adenoma is a pathological diagnosis.Solitary thyroid nodules can be a Thyroid carcinoma as well, and needs diagnostic work up. Thyroid adenoma is a diagnosed case. In general, there are many too much serious causes of solitary thyroid nodule than thyroid adenoma.
