How does a toast rack improve upon a simple plate? THis aspects should be mentioned--Light current 14:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is the purpose of a toast rack that makes it better than just piling the stuff on a plate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.76.242.64 (talk) 00:22, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is used mainly in cafés or retaurants so people round a table don't have to touch other peoples toast. They can just grab a slice. Whereas if it is stacked on a plate you have to take the top piece or touch all the other pieces of toast Sweetie candykim (talk) 12:40, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you just stack toast on a plate the moisture in the bread will turn the slices soggy. If you want crisp toast then a rack helps. Saxophobia (talk) 01:26, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
