[edit]- Just wondering, where is the source about revealing the Revolution's controller at the TGS? --Omega21 15:38, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
- I've done a bit of searching and I can't find anything supporting this statement that Iwata would have confirmed the he was going to announce the Rev controller at TGS. The rumours have been flying since it was announced that Iwata would have a keynote speech this year, but I'm sure that the game media would have pounced on the news that he was actually going to reveal new Rev details. I'm going ahead and change the wording into "It's rumored" again. If anyone has a source, please change it back and add said source. --Codemonkey 04:30, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
- Came accross this article linked from the nintendo revolution page [1]. They look pretty sure of themselves, but don't seem to be basing this report on any official press releases, probably just "reliable inside sources". I'm just going to link to it as reference, without changing the "rumored" wording. --Codemonkey 19:32, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

Redirection?
[edit]TGS could also stand for the Teen Girl Squad series on Homestar Runner.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.221.174.48 (talk • contribs) 20:40, Oct 3, 2005 (UTC)
- I'll make a disambig page for TGS. --Codemonkey 21:34, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
Satoru Iwata's keynotes
[edit]I can't seem to find any verification that Satoru Iwata gave a keynote address in 2004. However, in a news article for TGS 2005, gamesindustry.biz reffered to a keynote he gave in 2003 - skipping over 2004. [2] So, anyone have sources for 2004? -- OddityEG 20:30, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
2007
[edit]Does anybody know when the 2007 Tokyo Game Show will be?--User:Soccerguy1039

[edit]Should this page note that nintendo dont attend TGS?
Ps3 playable in 2006?
[edit]The text staed that the ps3 wasn't playable on the floor whilst the image shows gamers playing on the ps3 at tgs '06? I'm confused. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.119.43.19 (talk) 14:05, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Halo
[edit]Microsoft is expected to address the keynote at TGS and the possibility of announcing a new Halo game is possible; however, please keep in mind Bungie's latest update on Bungie.net refers to a spacecraft and not Tokyo itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.50.198.151 (talk) 10:17, 21 September 2008
- Actually, either way rumours and such don't belong here. - Zero1328 Talk? 02:15, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
TGS 2008
[edit]We need to add more information on TGS 2008, because it has already occurred.Ffgamera (talk) 07:20, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
TGS 2010
[edit]I added information on when TGS 2010 will start and attendance info about TGS 2009 - someone should edit the date when they announce if it will be a three or four day event in 2010. -XenoLair
I added the 2010 Official site but I'm wondering about the coverage for this year and the last few, that's been left out? 203.164.130.116 (talk) 06:37, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Use of women to lure visitors
[edit]The Mainichi Newspaper has started running a series on the use of scantily-dressed "companion girls" being used to lure customers, with one company president comparing the Game Show to a hostess club. I don't want to give the issue too much weight by starting an entire section on it, but it is definitely worth mentioning. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 00:29, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
