Comparison with western practices

[edit]

RAJIVVASUDEV The video of the Hebridean women singing waulking songs is really charming, and I can see the connection myself, but drawing the comparison is WP:OR without a source explicitly comparing them for us. Please consider either removing this bit or (my preferred option!), sourcing it appropriately. Cheers Girth Summit (blether) 08:40, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Girth Summit: I completely agree with you. Can we keep it there now mentioning not related to Trinjan? Kindly advise. Thanks for your support. Regards RV (talk) 09:10, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
RAJIVVASUDEV, to be honest, including stuff about Scottish traditions in an article about Indian traditions is OR without a source making the connection for us. However, I'd be surprised if there aren't sources out there discussing comparisons between them and other similar practices worldwide; I don't have a big problem leaving it there for the time being with a 'citation needed' tag. @Girth Summit: Let me find the source as per suggestion. To keep it simple, I have removed it. Thanks RV (talk) 09:27, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
