[edit]Declaration of interest: I worked for Turi Josefsen for a while (she scared the bejasus out of me, actually). I think she is a fascinating person, but there is no doubt that this needs the input of some Hammerfest residents. Is it true that she paid for the airport runway to be extended to take 737s? Is there any independent source for the anecdote about her having the company pilot land at Heathrow despite being diverted to Farnborough (I'm guessing not). I was told she was the first female honorary fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow; can this be verified? Stay tuned...
