My edits
[edit]The previous version of this page read like promotional press-release copy. I've edited it to a more encyclopedic style — in the process deleting uncited, unfootnoted hype such as "Proudly carry the banner", "one of the lights of the world of comics fandom" (!) and "TwoMorrows has become the largest publisher of fan-related books and magazines in comics," a comment that the publisher of Wizard, who appeared this year on the cover of Inc., might, for instance, take exception with. (Don't get me wrong; I love Comic Book Artist and Alter Ego, buy them on the stands every month, cite them chapter & verse in my Wiki articles. But this is an encyclopedia, not a place for self-promotion, and sometimes not everyone understands that until it's explained.) --Tenebrae 07:29, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Well, I'd say that TwoMorrows puts out many more fan oriented books and magazines than Wizard, which is what the delated line refered to, rather than the actual size of the operation.--TomStewart 16:22, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Cool. And they're great magazines. (But you can see where the "I'd say" part is non-encyclopedic; stating just the numbers, something like, "TwoMorrows publishes 8 bi-monthly magazines, the largest number of any comics-oriented press" or whatever.
