Catelyn Chekhov's Gun

[edit]

There was a Chekhovian gun relating to Catelyn Stark while Sansa was talking about the red wedding, but I don't know how to phrase it effectively in the article. Basically, Sansa talked about how Robb had his wolf's head sewn to his body, which was shown on screen. However, she then says that Catelyn was rumoured to have been thrown into the river after her death. Anyone who's read the books knows that this leads directly to Catelyn being found and resurrected by the Brotherhood without Banners, which takes places during the epilogue of A Storm of Swords and thus is likely to take place in the final or penultimate episode of this season. I feel that this detail should be mentioned somewhere without actually giving away what ultimately happens for those who don't know, but I don't know how to put it in without it disrupting the flow of the rest of the paragraph or seeming forced into it.2.30.122.134 (talk) 11:05, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it needs to be mentioned (similar to last season, when Jaime "sends his regards" at Harrenhal), and I have added it to the article. It's important to note that, while it is very likely that Lady Stoneheart will be in the TV series, it isn't a guarantee. Trut-h-urts man (TC) 16:06, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Easter Egg links might be cute and clever, but they're not encyclopaedic. Also, see WP:EGG. Parentheticals or footnotes are the preferred ways to reference links outside this article. DonQuixote (talk) 13:18, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The IP made a request about this at WP:3O, which I am declining on the basis that there has been insufficient discussion here. IP, please discuss here in the first instance, and see if you can reach agreement in that way. Regards, --Stfg (talk) 13:36, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

RfC on Oathkeeper

[edit]

There's an RS-related RfC on Oathkeeper. Participation and fresh voices would be welcome. The matter concerns a single-line reference to the chapters upon which the episode was based. Darkfrog24 (talk) 22:18, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
