Preparation and Impacts section
[edit]I think we need to join both the Preparation section and the Impacts section and rename it: 'Preparations and Impacts'. Noul, so far today, has impacted 3 countries: The Caroline Islands, Philippines and Taiwan, which possibly tomorrow Japan as well. With this, we can't just separate the Prep and Impacts section and have both sections have a sub-section with the same name. So what I am saying it is better if we combine the two sections together with only 'no-repeat' sub-section. Typhoon2013 (talk) 03:56, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
JTWC quit, JMA hasn't
[edit]This might pose some logistical problems; with only the JMA left, it might become meaningless to maintain 1-minute winds after now (JTWC issued the 38th and final warning on the cyclone).--Jasper Deng (talk) 08:01, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
Extras
[edit]Hi. I just wanted to say what an active start for the year for typhoons. So, I just found out that as of today, about 4 typhoons broke the record in this season:
1.) Typhoon Higos - strongest typhoon in the month of February.
2.) Typhoon Maysak - strongest typhoon prior to the month of April.
3.) Typhoon Noul - in the Top 5 strongest typhoons in month of May and brought heaviest winds ever recorded in Japan in May.
4.) Typhoon Dolphin - earliest 7th named storm within the basin since 1971.
For the articles of Maysak and Noul, do you think we should add a section about its record? And I think we should start adding information in the summary of the 2015 PTS article on the top. What are your thoughts? Typhoon2013 (talk) 08:31, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Will review. The article is exceptionally well-written. I have only a few comments: Sainsf <^>Talk all words 15:00, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks so much! Hope I got all of these. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- In the lead:
- I am not sure if this would be redundant - can we add the typhoon season?
- It's in the second sentence, but I piped the link - annual typhoon season
- I see. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 04:33, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
- Link Philippines and Japan
- Got it. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- In Meteorological history:
- I think the year should be mentioned at the beginning of the main text.
- Added. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Philippines is linked twice
- Got it. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- In Preparations and impact:
- Duplinks: Federated States of Micronesia, Cagayan, Ishigaki Island
- Got it. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- known as Typhoon Dodong within the country Need not be repeated, this has already been mentioned.
- I only felt it necessary to emphasize again in the Philippines impact section. Most of the references in the links talk about Dodong, not Noul, so I was on the side of caution. Does that work? ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- That's a good idea. Let it stay, then. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 04:33, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
Thanks a lot Hurricanehink, you have been as fast as a hurricane! I would be happy to promote such a wonderful article. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 04:33, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
