Criticism of Red Bull

[edit]

After Gegenschatz's death, there were a number of articles, academic works, a podcast and a documentary made that criticized Red Bull for their marketing tactics, suggesting there was some complicity there with his fatal accident. I cited some of these to provide evidence of the criticism and to show it was not opinion. I guess this was wrong as these were removed? @Folly Mox if you could help me understand what I did wrong here, I am trying to learn and do better. Nayyn (talk) 09:36, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nayyn please accept my apologies for my harshly worded edit summaries. I was probably feeling grumpy and frustrated with the automated citation generation scripts. I spend a lot of time fixing their output.
I didn't remove any of your references, although I did collapse several consecutive superscript clicky links[19][20][21][6][22] using {{multiref2}}.
As far as I'm able to tell, you did nothing wrong, except perhaps the understandable mistake of trusting that the output of automatic citation scripts included in the Visual Editor software would produce accurate citations. My frustration is with the software itself, and how problems that have been known for years have persisted without improvement, leading to excessive amounts of unnecessary work.
Thank you for your contributions and updates to this article. All your sources are still present, listed together under reference 19. Apologies again for my fristrated language; it was not directed at you. Please don't hesitate to ping me if you have any more questions or need help with anything. I'm usually not so grouchy ☺️ Folly Mox (talk) 11:26, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
