There are a few sentences in here that seem a little iffy.

  1. "high stone foundation, broad entrance stairs and a pedimented portico." compared to "...high stone foundation, broad entrance stairs, and pediments portico..."
  2. "...consists of dark red brick laid in an English cross bond." compared to "...constructed of dark red brick laid in English cross-bond...
  3. "The foundation is North Carolina granite." compared to "... rests on a high foundation of North Carolina granite."
  4. "Three tall round arch openings are located..." compared to "Three tall round arched openings are located..."
  5. "Above the entrance are Della Robia-type swags." compared to "Above the entrance is a beautiful Della Robia type swag."
  6. "...features white oak woodwork, a terrazzo floor, and a vaulted ceiling." compared to "retains its white oak woodwork, marble-terrazo floor and vaulted ceiling."
  7. "The round arch openings contain multi-paned windows, which provide light to the interior." compared to "The round arched openings of the exterior are continued on the interior with multi-pane windows allowing light to pass from one space to another."

If this was just a couple of brief paraphrases, that would be one thing. But I've just listed nearly every sentence in the aricle. As the author of this article is not just some newbie, I won't tag this for SD yet. Nolelover It's almost football season! 21:04, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the two paragraphs with the concerned text. This problem is hard to avoid with single sources for info. I suggest rewriting it.--NortyNort (Holla) 10:40, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
