The Utica Comets State Audit Scandal needs to be shown.

[edit]

Last year the Utica comets became the center of an audit scandal with Tom DiNapoli, NYS Comptroller. A LARGE number of accounting discrepancies, lack of competitive bidding and no-bid contract money going out to contractors (Usmail Electric, Whitestown NY) who are related to the president of the MVG association, a serious conflict of interest. As such this is relevant info ESPECIALLY in regards to the fact that the team is HEAVILY subsidized by NY taxpayers. There is another serious audit underway.

The "management" has undertaken a huge effort to remove any reference to their screwup and it will be noted, sooner or later.

This article has multiple issues incl. reference and length issues

[edit]

I'll sign in and start the process to get some help for this one it's got a few issues and POV problems.

Also it seems padded up with a little too much info especially the history.

The "Comets franchise" doesn't seem to be the current name so why do we need a huge slab of history. I will flag and check other like-articles to get a handle on how far out of wack this one is.

"Too much info"? Last time I checked, Wikipedia is not paper, so all reliably sourced info is welcome in any such article. I have already warned you before about removing all the sourced info, and really wish an admin would come and stop you. Tom Danson (talk) 12:18, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
A good editor is what's needed here this article does have a lot if uncited info compared to like teams. It's a little ad-ish also and that's not acceptable on Wikipedia.

Well, this franchise has the most history of any team in the AHL...what do you expect? Tom Danson (talk) 22:48, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's a bunch of the usual phony Utica overstatements. Care to prove that one Tom?

I have a feeling all these different IPs vandalizing this article are all one and the same person...that's why I'm requesting indefinite semi-protection for the article. Tom Danson (talk) 03:33, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's ok Tom, just like other WP articles, each time you revert we wait a while roll the IPs and methodically go make 3-5 minor changes like dates and records on other random Wiki pages. Either fix the page or you'll never know how many pages get whacked. HUNDREDS already. Fix the bullshit here, end of story.

Is that a threat? Tom Danson (talk) 17:05, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well let's see...... 25 more tiny numeric edits and whacks. Keep talking.
At LEAST have the guts to get a user account so that I can block you for the next vandalization you make. Tom Danson (talk) 02:50, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's about the most retarded thing I ever heard of. Asking someone to sign up so you can block them? I bet you are from Utica aren't you Tom? Relax. I have several accts. Unfortunately you won't ever know which.

Ten more slaps coming up. Keep going. 32.131.128.168 (talk) 20:44, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck editing protected articles. Buffaboy talk 23:37, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck thinking there's not about a million more assfuk. You people really are pretty much a bunch of feeble newts aren't you?

Time to go do some mayhem. Keep talking. Goof.

If I were an admin, I'd block ALL your IPs...I guess I'll have to nominate myself. Tom Danson (talk) 06:54, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Let us know how all that works out for you. It helps if you're an editor yourself.

Ten more. 32.131.42.183 (talk) 07:17, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Tom fuckko you just cost Wiki 50 date and numerical changes for that threat you can't even enforce.

Keep going, in addition to the 50 smacks Im giving Wiki, NEXT theres a few kids in the neighborhood Ill be paying to start WHALING on Wikipedia with minor changes to dates and numbers so they're next to impossible to find and will make Wiki look ridiculous.

Change ONEFUCKING LETTER of this today and its getting ratcheted up TWO HUNDRED, so be sure to start your shyt and running your cockhole so I can throw the poor kids a few bucks to help me whale on you even harder. Go find some otherfucking page to troll this ones taken and permanently marked until the head molester at the comets is GONE.

Been here years and I plan on sticking around long so lose your interest in this page or eventually you will have cost Wiki more damage than you have ever contributed. Its too easy to roll off ip and if that doesnt work this bldg has about 50 computers in it so just you ppl TRY me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.160.54 (talk)

I guess you don't understand that a simple lock on the page will prevent you from harming it, which is unfortunate, but may (again) be where this article is headed. Buffaboy talk 12:42, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I guess YOU don't understand that fact that "locks" eventually pass idiot and there's SOOOO many other articles on Wiki to trash while waiting! Keep talking fckface!

I don't negotiate with terrorists. Tom Danson (talk) 09:46, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Duur duuur duur "I don't negotiate with terrorists"? What are you like five fckko? Watch a lil too much 24 did ya? Where's a terrorist? What are you supposedly "negotiating" with retard?

Just so you all know there's too many ips and computers here to stop me from trashing wiki as I did over the last week. Over 200 tine minor edits to numbers dates and measurements.

So keep pretending you're "negotiating with terrorists" you fckng simpleton retard. That silly crack just cost wiki ANOTHER 25 errors!

Semi-pro

Alaska Aces

[edit]

Alaska Aces have folded so they need to be removed as an affiliate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 153.2.247.34 (talk) 14:53, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of vandalism protection

[edit]

Could the vandalism protection be removed from this article? It's been nearly 10 years since such issues have arisen, so I feel like it's safe to remove such protections.
