Possible mistake: someone please confirm that it is Voormis and not Voormi. I have only encountered the usage of Voormis and not Voormi in the cthulhu mythos, which indicates that it is voormis regardless of being plural or singular. Also the original creator of the race was Clark Ashton Smith not H. P. Lovecraft which might explain why Lovecraft treated the singular asVoormi. But not really sure about that. To add to the confusion, Lin Carter uses Voormis as the name of the people, and Voormish as an adjective.--ObsidinSoul 07:06, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Created redirects from Voorm, Voormi, and Voormish. That should clear up the confusion.--ObsidinSoul 01:36, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"The Seven Geases" would be the only story Clark Ashton Smith referred to them in the singular.
"...he beheld lying before the shadowy monster the lean husk of a thing that was neither man, beast nor Voormi."
"In one of the jars there floated upright a well-developed and mature male Voormi..."
His 1934 letter to Barlow does as well.
"It is worthy of record, however, that Knygathin Zhaum, the half-breed Voormi..."

There isn't a single Lovecraft story which refers to them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.24.187.122 (talk) 03:52, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
