Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on WFCR. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Not well written.

[edit]

I always believe that when only a few additional words would significantly clarify an article, then the writer really, really should add those words instead of forcing every reader who seeks clarity to click on a link, or read the references, or google, in order to understand the answers to the most basic questions that are bound to arise.

In the first sentence: Almost nobody understands a technical phrase like "licensed to Amherst, Massachusetts" — which does not mean licensed to that city, but instead means licensed to serve that city.

At the end of the introductory section it is mentioned that "WFCR announced that it would consolidate operations with WGBH-owned PBS station WGBY-TV". Nobody knows what it even means for a radio station to consolidate operations with a TV station. It is also unmentioned what it means in this particular case. It turns out that it means that WGBY-TV (Springfield, Massachusetts) and WFCR will share their coverage of local news. How hard is it to just say that, instead of making a reader click on the reference to answer this obvious question?50.205.142.35 (talk) 06:53, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
