Merge?
[edit]Does the Wikipedia really need an article just on a single boat? I suggest merging this with the Los Angeles Fire Department article. BlankVerse 13:33, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- Disagree! Fireboats are cool; there's an ever-increasing Catagory devoted to individual boats; and they're individually significant. --Saintrain 13:56, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Agree.Disagree. I see that there is already a category Fire Boats, and other fire boats have a page. This article just needs someone to write more about it. (And the Ralph J. Scott (fireboat)) Cmcnicoll 10:11, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Merge Discussion Nov 2008
[edit]Reopening this merge discussion, nothing has been done in nearly 2 years to add any independent sources or citations. No image, still a stub unlike the some of the other fireboat articles mentioned. It should be merged in unless it can be expanded and improved. Mfield (talk) 17:11, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Propulsion
[edit]Are the 'eggbeaters' referred to in the article Voith Schneider Propellers? If so, a link needs to be established to that Wiki topic. LorenzoB (talk) 02:53, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
