Someone posted Blink 183 for 7/31, and iiii'm pretty sure they aren't coming back anytime soon o.o, so unless I see a source, im removing it. TheHighwaySong 12:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

Removal of Vandalism

[edit]

Someone posted that "avenged sevenfold, megadethmetallica, shadows fall, and buckethead" would be at the tour. Obvious vandalism because of the spelling, no links, or dates. I took care of it TheHighwaySong 16:31, 3 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

    • Yeah, I just removed Atreyu (actually on Family Values this summer) and Kristin Chenowith today lol. I'm FAIRLY sure that she won't be appearing on Warped this summer lol DX927 21:46, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of profanity

[edit]

I removed the profanity from the page and from this talk page, since neither served a purpose. Since the page has no recent revision history, I can't tell if anyone was actually deleting information from the page. In any case, the page seems up to date. Feel free to add bands as they are confirmed. Spectheintro 18:15, 22 March 2007 (UTC)spectheintro[reply]

ANYONE KNOW WHY?

[edit]

Why don't the Dallas and Denver Warped dates have a venue yet? I know they're not on the site or anything, but I live in Dallas and it's usually held at Smirnoff Music Centre, but the delay makes me think there might be a problem.

Don't respond saying they haven't been released yet. I just want to know if anyone has an idea at all what's going on or what the problem is?

The Dallas Warped Tour date will indeed be held at Smirnoff Music Centre, just like it has been every year. Information can always be found at warpedtour.com

TheHighwaySong 19:30, 28 March 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

I don't see it on the official website. It's not in the Dates Section. Where is it on the website?Arson5000

oh wow, you're right. I must've overlooked that. I assume it'll take place at Smirnoff Music Centre just like it has every year. If it says otherwise later i'll edit it.

TheHighwaySong 13:43, 30 March 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

Now, most places are saying Smirnoff/Pizzza Hut Center which are two different venues, which is really confusing. On the Warped website, it now says TBA, but on the presale page it says Smirnoff?Arson5000

I still believe that more than likely it'll take place at Smirnoff. I haven't run into a place that says Pizza Hut Park (which is like two hours from Dallas I do believe.) I'd go with what the presale page says

TheHighwaySong 13:20, 2 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

Hmmm, I searched presale for Dallas and all I see is Smirnoff Music Centre listings. I searched the Smirnoff Centre website itself, but it still doesnt have the date posted. I think I speak for alot of my friends when I say i'll be pissed if it takes place at Pizza Hut Park TheHighwaySong 13:24, 2 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

Yeah, I think we should just put Smirnoff, cause the presale thing says so, I just don't get why they wouldn't put the venue on the official site.Arson5000

Yeah only a handful of sites say Pizza Hut Park, i'm gonna leave it TBA until the official site says so TheHighwaySong 12:44, 4 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

SMC has confirmed that Warped Tour will take place there this year, just like always TheHighwaySong 16:36, 16 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

Stages?

[edit]

I've never posted to a discussion on here before but I was wondering if anyone else thought that this page would be a lot more efficient if the bands were listed according to what stage they were playing on? Warped's main site used to do this a few years ago and stopped for whatever reason. It might make the list a lot easier to read if it was split up instead of just having a long list of names. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.235.9.97 (talk) 19:53, 9 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

the last time they did it was on Warped Tour 2005, it really puzzles me as to why it has been discontinued. It was a really good idea. But anyway, the stages won't be up for a while, until a complete list of the bands is finished. If they do it this year, I'll be sure to try and organize them that way. TheHighwaySong 12:42, 10 April 2007 (UTC)TheHighwaySong[reply]

I've actually been keeping track of the stage layouts myself for another website because I missed the feature so much. Right now I only have 36 bands that aren't on a particular stage. I could get you any info if you wanted to go ahead and start formatting the page that way?

To the person who posted aboe me: Can you please send me thr URL to this site because I would like to know. The stage listing was discontinued because what it said on the website was never the way it actually turned out to be. Almost everyone ends up on a different stage, so it was no use. Last year, they did the texting of the lineup, so they could do that this year.Arson5000

Well I would do that but it's for a site that you have to pay to be a member of. I think the Warped Main Site just got lazy about listing it, especially like you said, bands often get shuffled around, but the last few years it's been pretty set in stone. Usually 2-3 main stage slots are left open for Hurley/Volcom bands to get a shot at playing Main Stage for the day and then smaller bands will get moved up to fill those slots. I finally got around to registering for here too so now I actually have a name to sign off with. I'm also gonna go ahead and add a few bands that I found through Myspace pages and leave the sources. DX927 22:42, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay :D. How much do you have to pay and what schedules does it show (meaning from what years)?Arson5000

I think you misunderstood me lol. I'm actually a member of the Suicidegirls site (no I'm not a model) and I just happen to be keeping track of the list for one of the groups on there. That's why I said you can't access it without paying. It's just for this year. I would post it in this discussion but it's huge. But if anyone does want to start organizing this page by stage then I'll definitely post what I know so far. Some of it i'm not 100% sure on but you can pretty much tell who's gonna be on the main stage. DX927 06:35, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! Haha, I'm stupid. So the schedule stuff that you know isn't set in stone?Arson5000

Well some of it is from articles either from Warped's site, the band's site, their label's site, etc. Like Epitaph said the other day that Gallows will be on the main stage. Pepper said in an interview they did with Warpedtour.net that they would be on the main stage. Big D and The Kids Table said to look for them on Hurley all summer. There was a press release about Meg & Dia being on Volcom. But then you'll get stages like Smartpunk or Ernie Ball that actually go out of there way to put up who is playing their stage and on what days. The Kevin Says stage has their own site this year actually and are announcing bands. But then like I said, you know bands like Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, Underoath, The Vandals, New Found Glory, etc etc etc aren't gonna be playing anywhere but the main stage unless there's some strange circumstance. And then other bands like Throw The Fight, The Confession, or Nothington are gonna wind up on the much smaller stages. It's just how things work.

Well I'm rambling now. To make a long story short, most of it is as official as it comes and other stuff is just me making a logical guess. DX927 06:35, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks.Arson5000

Is there no Volcom Stage this year?Arson5000 16:47, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. Volcom is doing their own summer tour with the likes of Valient Thorr and The Riverboat Gamblers, pretty much everyone that's on their label. So they won't be sponsoring a stage this summer. Instead Hurley is sponsoring 2 stages: the Hurley Stage and the Hurley.com Stage DX927 19:03, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, okay. Arson5000 20:44, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ernie Ball Stage/Kevin Says Stage

[edit]

Over at www.battleofthebands.com (The official site for the Ernie Ball Stage) they went and added the dates for all of their headliners so I went and added most of those dates to the official list on here. That includes a few extra dates for Madina Lake and Mayday Parade that weren't listed on the Official Warped Tour site.

There's also been a few bands added over at http://hottopickevinsaysstage.com so if someone wants to make another sub-heading for bands confirmed through that site then go ahead. I would do it myself but I'm still kinda new at this whole thing and didn't want to screw anything up. DX927 17:59, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rise Against and others

[edit]

I'm not sure that Rise Against are doing any Warped dates this summer. They're on their own tour all the way through late July 26th so if they do any dates it would have to be after that.

I'm not sure that The Mask Of The Red Death are actually playing Warped. I went to their Myspace page and it said something about "We're playing the entire Warped Tour even if Kevin Lyman doesn't know it yet." That seems a bit shady to me.

Under Foreign Skies said on their page that they're not playing but are just gonna be on the tour selling CDs. Does that mean they should be taken off the list? And Ice Nine Kills don't have any dates yet either, they're just hoping they win and get added to the tour.

Also Juliette And The Licks are going to be in Europe starting in late June and they have a date for Budapest sometime in August, so it would seem unlikely for them to travel BACK to America to do a handful of Warped Dates. DX927 04:50, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I was right about Rise Against. http://www.punkbands.com/index.php?id=23183 I removed them from the list. DX927 21:55, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Notice the gap between July 29th and August 15th? Please do not remove them unless they themselves, or the cite that the band is sourced to, state they will do no dates on the tour.Hoponpop69 21:49, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why would they play cities they've either already played or are going to play later on in that small gap of missing dates just to jump on the Warped Tour for a few days? Think about what you're saying. The only cities on the July 29th-August 15th portion of Warped that Rise Against wouldn't already be playing on their own tour are Englishtown, Buffalo, Indianapolis and Barrie, Ontario. And that's really a great source you're using for information as to why they're gonna be on the tour. Something some random person on a message board said several months ago. DX927 22:13, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Madina Lake

[edit]

Madina Lake have decided not to do Warped this summer. There's a big explanation about why on their Myspace blog. I tried to link directly to that here but it wouldn't let me. Just wanted to give everyone the explanation as to why I took them off the list. They've already been taken off of the official band list on the Warped site as well. DX927 17:02, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lucky 13 Mini Ramp Stage Bands

[edit]

Why did someone move the several bands I added today back down to the sourced by other sites section? There is a big news story about these bands on the front page of Warpedtour.com so that would seem like they were officially confirmed to me.

Also Josephine Collective no longer have dates listed on their Myspace page and they were taken off of the dates they were listed under on the Battle of the Bands site so I removed them from the list. DX927 06:03, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another Sub-Heading

[edit]

I'm gonna go ahead and add a sub-heading for bands confirmed by battleofthebands.com because the list is getting huge. If anyone doesn't like it they can just change it back but I just thought it might look better than having almost 300 sources at the bottom.

I also removed The Mask of The Red Death from the list because their Myspace page is completely gone and they weren't actually playing the show in the first place anyway. 4.238.30.79 22:17, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I MADE CHANGES

[edit]

I made changes to the Confirmed by warpedtour.com and Confirmed by battleofthebands.com sections. I removed bands that aren't listed on warpedtour.com but were confirmed by battleofthebands. I removed the following bands from the warpedtour.com section and moved them to the battleofthebands.com section: Authority Zero Buck-O-Nine Daphne Loves Derby Don't Die Cindy Jonezetta Karate High School Lorene Drive Ludo mc chris Monty Are I Mustard Plug Natives of the New Dawn The Salads Social Code Throwdown Valencia Arson5000 23:59, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

    • I was thinking of doing another subheading for Bands confirmed by kevinsaysstage.com but there aren't any dates listed for those bands on that site. The dates that I've gotten are from each band's own Myspace page. So do you think I should go ahead and do the subheading anyway since those do seem to be the confirmed dates and all for these bands? And FYI, those bands ARE still listed on the Warped site, you just have to know how to find them. They changed the site around and screwed everything up. The old list can be found at http://warpedtour.com/warpedtour/bandpage.asp?xid=18176 DX927 01:25, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, go ahead and do the subheading. But anyway, if the list is not up on the current site, it doesn't matter anymore. Besides, those bands belong under the battleofthebands.com section because they're Ernie Ball Stage bands, even though they're the bigger bands on that stage, they're still supposed to be under the battleofthebands section. Arson5000 19:08, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I finished up the subheading. Since Valencia are confirmed on both Battleofthebands.com and Kevinsaysstage.com I just put all of their dates under the BOTB heading, same with Ten Count Fall. DX927 03:08, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, cool.Arson5000 18:08, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Used

[edit]

I removed The Used from the list today because their singer is going to need surgery and they've cancelled all of their Warped dates. It's up on Punkbands.com as well as their official Myspace page. News will break to Warped's site soon enough.

West 49?

[edit]

So does anyone know if West 49 is a band playing the Canadian Warped Dates or are they the sponsor for the Kevin Says Stage in Canada? That site is awfully confusing. Until I find a band with those dates i'm gonna assume it's the sponsor instead lol DX927 23:33, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MxPx

[edit]

Just to give the FYI, MxPx apparently ARE playing this year but they're only playing on the dates that I put on the list even though according to the Warped site they're playing every date. Basically the website is not that great this year so there's a ton of horrible mistakes in regards to things. Like for example, it said The Fall of Troy was playing every date when they're not playing any. Also that IainTerry Band....I'm not sure if they even exist. But long story short, MxPx (July 28th-August 3rd) is correct. DX927 18:34, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

    • Yeah, I agree, what is with that IainTerry Band?! I google them and nothing at all comes up, and when I went to warped tour last week, I looked for them and they weren't there at all.Arson5000 05:04, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Underoath

[edit]

Are they really playing up to 8-10? On other sites it still says 8-9, so I'm a little confused.Coocooforcocopuffs 19:56, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Old School Stage just added

[edit]

Just saw a blurb on Warped's official site of a new stage that's being added to the last show. So I went and threw those bands up on the list. DX927 20:37, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A7X

[edit]

Just wanted to let everyone know, Avenged Sevenfold did in fact play today. I'm in FL but I heard there was gonna be a "surprise band" today so I got the schedule sent to my phone and A7X are on the lineup so I added them to the list. DX927 21:02, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
