Lack of sources and references

[edit]

I don't see any problem with this page. It has info from the toy box, and people who read the comic books and watched the TV show. Seems fine to me. 6-21-06 user:Mathewignash

Terminator

[edit]

I removed the part about Waspinator's name possibly being a pun of terminator. This is a encyclopedia article and should only contain facts. Cdscottie January 29, 2007

Fair use rationale for Image:Waspinator.jpg

[edit]

Image:Waspinator.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wasp pic

[edit]

Someone should really put up a better pic of Wasp, one that better shows his present-day color scheme. Bluecatcinema (talk) 17:06, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?

[edit]

Against - Waspinator is a unique character with a long history best let to have his own page. Moreover this page is devoted to two different characters named Waspinator, and only ONE of them is from Beast Wars. What of the other one? Mathewignash (talk) 22:04, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am most against this merge! Markcambrone (talk) 20:28, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stinger is NOT Waspinator

[edit]

He has a different name, different color scheme, there is no evidence that he was ever supposed to be Waspinator, unlike Wheeljack/Que or Mirage/Dino, & the only characteristics they share are being a better bumblebee, (only his animated counterpart) & an insect-like head. Even if they were "extremely similar", that doesn't make it so. I plan on deleting his section of the article soon. Abejorro97 (talk) 05:02, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]

I know pretty much nothing about this topic, so I can't really weigh in on most of this article. However, I can definitely tell you that the lead needs work. As somebody who knows nothing of the topic, the lead didn't particularly help. If somebody who actually knows about this topic could expand the lead, that'd be fantastic!
