Donington Park
[edit]The Donington Park page says: "The first Donington Park Trophy race was held on 7 October 1933, and was won by the Earl Howe in a Bugatti Type 51." This is in conflict with this page. Motor Sport, November 1933, Page 37 gives Earl Howe as the winner of the 20-lap invitation event on 7 October; Whitney Straight is given as a non-starter. I can find no evidence of Whitney Straight winning a race at Donington in 1933. Rupertlt (talk) 21:00, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- The info is referenced to the Motor Sport article, a quick search agrees that he didnt start among other references is Straight had engine trouble with his Maserati and did not arrive either[1]. Probably best to remove it. MilborneOne (talk) 21:44, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
