Charles Darwin

[edit]

A couple of connections:

Ward, William George, 1812-1882.
Catholic theologian and philosopher.
1861 CD sent W Gray's pamphlet Natural selection not inconsistent with natural theology—Darwin-Gray 76, where Henshaw Ward is suggested.
Wareham, Dorset.
1847 Jul. CD and family visited on way to holiday at Swanage.

The latter entry should be 1848, I believe, when Darwin and his son went by Wareham and Corfe to Swanage. Shtove (talk) 11:27, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
