[edit]

I am adding this new section, out of courtesy to other editors interested in working on the present article.

I re-organized the sections for citations (please consult the article's 'View History' for details). In particular, I also tried to find what text was corroborated by the reference to the Lyrita SRCD.328 CD; so, when I googled it, I found this link: http://www.lyrita.co.uk/cgi-bin/lyrita_index.pl?type=disc_category&disc_category=William

When I delved into this link, I found text there that does not seem to contain any information relevant to any of the text in the article. So, I removed the reference; if anyone objects, then please let me know. But, for now, I think there is no point in including a reference to sleeve notes of a CD that includes text which itself does not corroborate any of the text in the article.

I have now also ordered this CD (along with two others of music by William Mathias), and expect to receive it within the next 3-4 weeks. Once I have received it, I will check the sleeve notes of SRCD.328 and, if more complete than available from the Lyrita website, I will re-instate the reference but use the standard wiki templates to anchor it on the text in the article. More generally, I will use the sleeve notes of these three CDs to complete the biographical information in the article.

With kind regards;

Inadequate

[edit]

This article is totally inadequate as it stands, and is in desperate need of a re-write from someone who knows more about Mathias than I do! 212.74.96.197 14:43, 23 November 2006‎

I added the Organ Section, but it is still ridiculously incomplete. I will add stuff as I find it. 159.134.98.97 18:19, 18 June 2007
