Copyedit

[edit]

Hi

I have just done a quick copy-edit and a couple of things came to light:

  • "... using Bukhvostov's project." (career section) - Does this mean using his plans? One cannot use someone else's project, as soon as one starts it it is now yours.
  • I have found a source which states that Sheremetev was the one who had Bukhvostov imprisoned, more importantly that it was Sheremetev that caused the delays - (see the source given below)

There may be interest to check out these sources for English material as well as for the biblio?: Has interesting material on the - general history of Russian arch. - same as previous but "in photographs" - probably biblio only as no preview

  • Thanks. Indeed, we are talking about the Bukhvostov's initial plans, and it was indeed Sheremetev who had him arrested. I corrected both things, and also added the Brumfield book: although it does not focus on Bukhvostov, it is in English and gives some impression on what is going on. I can not open your first reference.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:45, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
