Yale Dam vs Saddle Dam
[edit]See page 48 of 361 of this PDF for a diagram showing a map of Yale Dam with respect to Saddle Dam. Both are embankment dams but only Yale Dam generates electricity. Also, some Pacific Power news releases (example) refer to Saddle Dam as "Yale Saddle Dam". To confuse matters further, a park named "Saddle Dam Park" is located adjacent to Saddle Dam near Yale Dam; road access to Yale Dam, however, is restricted to Pacific Power employees which may lead some familiar with Saddle Dam Park to confuse Saddle Dam with Yale Dam.
