A fact from Yolanda López appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 5 February 2006. The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the Chicana artist Yolanda Lopez became famous with the painting "Virgen de Guadalupe", which represents Lopez's personal investigation into Virgen de Guadalupe's status in Mexican society?

Unsourced content should be removed since this is a living person. Historically, lots of new users have added content with no sources or unreliable sources and this needs to be removed. I’ll have a look and see if I can locate an image of her. Sadly the painting can’t be used because that Flickr user doesn’t possess the rights to freely license it; those belong to López. Innisfree987 (talk) 22:15, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
A photo of Lopez was added by Victuallers - Thank you! This is a massive improvement to the article!
Not sure if there is also any chance to have a low resolution image as fair use of one of her key artworks also included, e.g., the "Who's the Illegal Immigrant, Pilgrim?" print or similar? It seems some articles about artists do have a low resolution image or two but most do not. It is a challenge to make sense of how it works.
