Usage
[edit]For use on Continental Cup of Curling pages with results of curling games. This template is used exclusively for those curling games that are scheduled to be played at the Continental Cup.
A blank template, for easy copy-and-paste:
{{ CurlingboxCC
| sheet =
| team1 =
||||||||| |
| points1 =
| team2 =
||||||||| |
| points2 =
}}
The parameters include:
- sheet: the name of the sheet
- teamX: the name of the skip; alternatively, the name of the team with the skip in parentheses. Note that the team with the hammer in the first end should be denoted with the template {{X}}.
- The end-by-end scores for each team should go on the lines below the team; the final score goes at the end of the line below the team.
- The pointsX parameters are used for the number of points each team gained from the game.
- Note the following:
- When documenting skins results, it is best to input a space for any blank parameters, to ensure that everything is spread out evenly (see examples below).
- Leave the "9th" parameter blank unless the curlingbox is being used for a Continental skins game and the game comes down to a draw to the button. Place a capital "X" in the parameter for the team that wins the draw to the button, but place nothing in the other team's "9th" parameter.
- Note that the final input is for the final score, not the points.
- If a game is played fewer than 8 ends, mark any conceded ends with an X or x.
- Per competition rules effective at the 2013 Continental Cup, if a team is awarded one-half of a point, use the symbol "½" in the "pointsX" parameter.

Skins games
[edit]Note: {{Skinscurlingbox}} supersedes this template for skins games in the Continental Cup.
{{ CurlingboxCC
| sheet =
| team1 = North America (Martin)
| |X| |0| |0|X| | |
| points1 = 39
| team2 = World (Ulsrud) {{X}}
|X| |0| |0| | |X| |
| points2 = 16
}}

North America (Martin) | X | 0 | 0 | X | 39 | ||||
World (Ulsrud) | X | 0 | 0 | X | 16 |
- Note that there are spaces in the empty cells instead of just nothing, which makes the curlingbox easier to read in code.
Draw-to-the-button capability:
