Alien Rage

[edit]

Moved to mainspace by Sven Manguard (talk). Self nominated at 20:44, 17 April 2014 (UTC).

  • I have concerns that some of the sources may not qualify as reliable per WP:RS and WP:PRIMARY; release dates could use sources independent of the subject (i.e. the console maker, without having to cite their application stores directly). Additionally, the article itself needs copyediting. ViperSnake151  Talk  05:10, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
  • ViperSnake151 Citing the publishers for the release dates isn't a violation of PRIMARY (which says "A primary source may only be used on Wikipedia to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge"). Indeed, I actually consider it a best practice, because if you look at several reliable, third party sources, they may not all give the same release date. As for the copyedit, I have done one, although I did not notice any serious errors. Sven Manguard Wha? 05:29, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
  • New article moved to mainspace is 5,217 characters long and completed on the same day as nomination. Duplication detector check of main sources [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] reveal no close paraphrasing issues. Article is well-sourced. Hook is 80 characters long (ALT1 is 112); both are under the 200 character max and are interesting. Ref 10 (verifying both the main and ALT1 hooks) is a reliable source from IGN. QPQ done. Looks good to go! —Bloom6132 (talk) 00:07, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- The sentence this has been taken from is a bit difficult to read (grammatically). If I am to understand this, the easiest level is 'Challenging' and the next difficult level is 'Hard'. To say the next easiest level to me reads like 'Hard' is below 'Challenging'. The original hook is awesome, but would the author please change the wording of the sentence for us videogame-impared people? PanydThe muffin is not subtle 18:25, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Hook looks good and the wording sounds better. Content and fact of the hook is exactly the same, so good to go! —Bloom6132 (talk) 09:10, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
