Comment: Expanded from 1126 (18 August) to 6336 (23 August, when almost all the expansion took place). There is an ITN nom (albeit improved a little too late; the section hadn't been updated in days when it was added), but it's recent deaths so should be fine.

Article has been tagged "Primary sources" since August - since we're now at the end of September, I don't think it's likely to be fixed. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:16, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
Changed to the "?no" template, as I see that talk page discussion is ongoing. Hopefully this gets resolved soon. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:19, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
@Crisco 1492: Yes, I told the editor who added the tag that I should have the issue resolved and asked them if I can remove it per WP:BRD. ミラP@Miraclepine 23:30, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
Alrighty. I've got this nomination watchlisted, so I'll come back in a couple days and see how things are going (personally, I've always believed that interviews published in reliable sources are still fact checked, and even self-published primary sources are accepted for non-controversial things, but...) — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:41, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
Upon checking, LeónGonsalvesofGoa (whom I'm informing of this DYK) hasn't edited in the past five days. Should I give them a few (maybe three) days before I let someone else decide on the tag or would it be more practical to skip straight to the latter? I'm leaning the latter because I want this done quickly, but I feel the former is more courteous since I asked them anyway (earlier today I might add). ミラP@Miraclepine 03:10, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
Overall: Article is new enough, 5x expansion on August 22nd. Appeared in ITN, but as an RD, which per WP:DYKNEW does not disqualify the article. Earwig's does not check for plagiarism in foreign-language sources, but based on Google Translate, I don't see any paraphrasing / copyright issues. I prefer the panda hooks (and note that the source indicates that she was identified by the host, which is hilarious). — Chris Woodrich (talk) 09:57, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
