Eye of Horus
- ... that in Egyptian mythology, the god Horus offered his own eye (pictured) for his father Osiris to eat? Source: "Osiris, slain by his brother Seth, was brought back to life by his son Horus, who presented his eye to Osiris as an offering meal—the eye being, in the complicated way of myth, both Horus's body part and Osiris's daughter!
