Independent International Commission on Kosovo
[edit]- ... that the Independent International Commission on Kosovo assessed that NATO bombing of Yugoslavia was illegal but legitimate?
- Reviewed: Tayyare Apartments
Created by Antidiskriminator (talk). Self nominated at 17:01, 1 March 2013 (UTC).
- The hook is part of a much more complex statement in the article: "The assessment of the Commission regarding NATO bombing of Yugoslavia was that it was illegal (because it was not authorized by the UN Security Council)[9] but legitimate action[10] because diplomatic alternatives had been exhausted.[11]"
- It has three references for that one sentence. Could that statement be simplified in the article, preferable with one reference? I'm not sure if the hook is completely accurate after looking at the three references. Star767 (talk) 23:45, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- GBS hits for "illegal but legitimate" Independent International Commission on Kosovo has 43 sources which directly support the hook assertion. All three cited sources directly support hook assertion. I intentionally added more than one citation because I supposed that someone might find it extraordinary claim which should be supported with more than one source. Do you want me to provide more sources plus additional quotes which support the hook assertion?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 00:09, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- Could all the references be put at the end of the sentence? Perhaps the sentence in the article could be simplified?
- (suggestion) "The assessment of the Commission regarding NATO bombing of Yugoslavia was that it was illegal because it was not authorized by the UN Security Council, but it still was a legitimate action as diplomatic alternatives had been exhausted.[9][10][11]" Star767 (talk) 15:54, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
