- There's no way ALT1 can be factual, particularly if alcohol is included -- he might be the first to admit to a problem. EEng (talk) 21:33, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- ALT2:... that Michael Botticelli (pictured) is the first director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy to be in recovery for a substance abuse problem?
- Full review needed; note that this is a WP:BLP, and such issues should be considered as part of the review. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:55, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, adequately referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. ALT2 hook fact verified and cited inline. Although this is a BLP, alcohol addiction and recovery is an important part of his narrative and is discussed in many reliable sources, including his profile on WhiteHouse.gov. Image is pd. The QPQ is not the most extensive QPQ ever done (I think it relies on the GA nomination for policy issues), but it did pass. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 21:30, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
