Oluf Hartmann

Created by SusunW (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 13:38, 26 May 2015 (UTC).

  • @SusunW and Gerda Arendt: Looks pretty good - the hook is cited, as is most of the rest of the article. My only concern is the paragraph beginning "The subjects in his paintings..." This seems to be extremely close in wording to the Google Translated version of the cited reference. I'd like to see that reworded a bit. Otherwise, it's fine. As a European painter who died in 1910, I'd be very surprised if there aren't a few public domain images of his paintings we can use... Smurrayinchester 13:51, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Full review needed; original reviewer has not returned, and in any event discussed only a couple of the many DYK criteria. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:41, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
    • I'll take this; give me a brief while. Vanamonde93 (talk) 16:28, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
  • This should be GTG. The article is new enough, being nominated within 7 days of its creation. It is long enough. It is neutrally written, and well cited. There are no copy-vios that I can find, although I am relying on google translate. I rephrased a couple of sentences just in case; my contribution is not significant enough to require a different reviewer. The hook is accurate and cited inline. It is interesting, and meets the guidelines otherwise. The QPQ is complete. The image is free-use, shows up well, and is used in the article. I've marked this AGF because of my heavy reliance on google translate, but I have no real concerns. Vanamonde93 (talk) 16:43, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
