Pal Kastrioti
[edit]- ... that the only territory Skanderbeg's grandfather Pal Kastrioti controlled were two villages in the region of Debar?

- Extremely POV interpretation and misrepresentation of the sources (more to follow on the article's talkpage). I removed a copyvio and some obvious misrepresentations of the sources and almost half a page copied from a copyrighted work. It seems to me that most the article doesn't deal with this subject but with Gjon Kastrioti, so it could be treated as a WP:COATRACK.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 20:36, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
- Sufflay says that the Balshas granted them holdings and Buda says that the Balshas ousted them from their territories. Both are used as sources although there is a difference of about 80 years between the two works. Why are speculations not attributed to authors but presented as hard facts? Please deal with the necessary attributions. --— ZjarriRrethues — talk 22:29, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
- Note: nominator was not informed on talk page of issues with this DYK nomination; am doing so now. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:06, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
- Despite notification on the creator/nominator's talk page over a week ago, and at least a couple of hundred edits by said nominator in the interim, no response has been made here, and no action has been taken on any of the issues noted above in the article. Under the circumstances, given no further attention to this nomination, it does not pass. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:30, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
