Polish–Prussian alliance
[edit]- ... that Prussia refused to meet its obligations from the Polish–Prussian alliance of 1790, and instead of aiding Poland during the Polish-Russian War of 1792, helped Russia to quell the Kościuszko Uprising the following year?

- By slightly stretching the rules for DYK, this interesting article qualifies under the length, date, sources, NPOV and hook criteria. The stretch is required under the "newness" rule because Piotrus had edited the article previously on 18th December 2011 when he increased it from 1307 B (220 words) to 1828 B (296 words). Nevertheless, in his 4th January expansion, he did expand it by more than 5 times from the 18th December size and it now has 10 kB (1598 words). So I am accepting that this article qualifies under the newness rule as well. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:37, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
