  • This is only a comment but given that most readers would probably be unfamiliar with the article subject it might be a good idea to propose additional hooks or to mention that the subject is the premiere awards for French-language Canadian media. Both of those have rather limited appeals; ALT1 may not make sense to those unfamiliar with the Gemini Awards while ALT2 sounds rather niche. Maybe some other suggestions could be given here? Maybe even a hook stating that it's the most prestigious awards for French-language Canadian media or something to that effect? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:30, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
I added ALT3 and ALT4 above to propose an explanation of the awards. I don't want to say they are the most prestigious award because I can't find a reference to back it up, although I will keep looking. Z1720 (talk) 02:59, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

I added one additional source today but nothing that could build a new ALT. I think ALT 3 or 4 explains what the awards are the best.Z1720 (talk) 13:45, 26 August 2020 (UTC)

Comment: All the hooks are really boring. The article mentions something about the award categories being renamed as a result of studio boycotts. Seems like a much more interesting topic for a hook.  Bait30  Talk 2 me pls? 19:12, 1 September 2020 (UTC)
