- This article is a five-fold expansion. It is new enough and long enough. The image is appropriately licensed, the hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. The creator appears to have five previous DYKs. Theoretically he should do a QPQ review but I am donating one of my spare reviews because his talk page states that he is wikibonked. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:44, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't find the hook hooky. It seems to introduce too many facts, diverting from the main subject. Instead of explaining what the Dubin Inquiry was, perhaps have a shorter version of the hook focusing on the hooky details. Alternately, you may wish to create a hook with details from another of his interesting cases. Yoninah (talk) 20:05, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I've proposed an alt-blurb that focuses more on Justice Armstrong's work during the inquiry. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 19:41, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, thanks, @Patar knight:, ALT1 is much hookier! I'd like to ask @Cwmhiraeth: to review it so I can promote it. Yoninah (talk) 19:44, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

- Thank you. I have rearranged ALT1 for clarity and it has suitable inline citations. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:00, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Patar knight: @Cwmhiraeth: since Armstrong became Ontario Court of Appeal judge after the Dublin Inquiry, it's a bit odd to call him the "former judge". The second half of the hook makes it hooky, anyway. Could we write:
- ALT2: ... that during the Dubin Inquiry, lead counsel Robert P. Armstrong questioned Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson over his anabolic steroid use? Yoninah (talk) 20:10, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you. Let's go with ALT2. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:13, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
