- WingedSerif, articles are supposed to be nominated for DYK within seven days of creation or their move from Draft space into mainspace. In this case, that date was July 27, and you've nominated the article on September 2, over four weeks late. As you're a first-time nominator, if it had been a few days or even a week or so too late, I would be willing to make an exception; at just about a month past deadline, I don't feel that I have that kind of leeway. You can always request an exception at the main DYK talk page, WT:DYK; it's an interesting article, and perhaps people will be more willing to ignore the rules since it is your first nomination. I'm sorry this is bad news; thanks for your interest in DYK, and I hope you'll be able to nominate another article before too long. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:34, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: Thanks for your quick review. Sorry to hear I was too late (and I understand it's too too late); I didn't know I could submit articles to DYK til just a couple days ago. But don't fear, I'm working on another, and I'll give that a go then ;) Wingedserif (talk) 18:41, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
