... that the inspiration for "Suit & Tie", Justin Timberlake's first new recording in six years, came out of the blue?

- Article = moved to mainspace January 14; prose long enough; cites sources and appears to be fairly thorough. Hook = This is where I don't think this is ready. Hook is formatted correctly, well-cited and meets length, but it's just not "hooky" enough. It seems to me that many, if not most songs come "out of the blue", or at least that's been claimed for a fair number of other songs. I think this needs something slightly more substantive to be a good hook. Despite what my editing history may say, I don't have a bias against pop culture articles. Is there anything else you'd like to highlight? Cdtew (talk) 18:50, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
- I had thought about what you said and thought about this as an alternative: "... that the style of "Suit & Tie", Justin Timberlake's first new recording in six years, was compared to the works of Curtis Mayfield?" ViperSnake151 Talk 02:34, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hmm... The song has been compared to many different things, so I don't think that would be a good example. Especially when it's only coming from one critic. I understand about the hook, I wasn't too sure about it either. I'll search through a few more sources and try to find something more "hooky". — Statυs (talk, contribs) 02:39, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- I found something that I think would be worthy of a hook. Let me put the information into the article and then write an alt in here. — Statυs (talk, contribs) 02:42, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- Not sure how you word it, but I added new information under "background and release" about the single being promoted with the new relaunch of Myspace. Any suggestions? — Statυs (talk, contribs) 02:53, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
