County Borders

[edit]

I have moved what was shown as the border between County Antrim and County Down to the river Lagan. I have changed what this diagram showed as the county border to Belfast City Limits, which I believe to be true and the original intent. See the discussion at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Archives/Humanities/2016 August 20 "Historical boundary between County Down and County Antrim in the Belfast (Northern Ireland) area" for a discussion of the county borders. --Arg342 (talk) 10:27, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ballymacarrett Goods Yard

[edit]

I am having difficulty locating any references on the Internet to the "Ballymacarrett Goods Yard".

In looking at the history of this page, I find the following

oldid / link to diff Timestamp Author Change my comments
256283989 (first version) 15:16, 6 December 2008 Halowithhorns89 Started diagram. First mention of Ballymacarrett Freight Yard No reference or explanation given.
456439686 19:10, 20 October 2011 Motacilla renamed Ballymacarrett Freight Yard to Ballymacarrett Goods Yard No reference or explanation given. I would assume this was done to conform with regional industry naming conventions.

I will attempt to contact the authors involved to see if they have any references.--Arg342 (talk) 10:17, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
