Billy Joe Hobert and Bruce Mathison[edit]

Hobert started 2 games for the Buffalo Bills in 1997. Mathison started 10 games for the Bills in 1985. My source reflects these facts clearly:

Hobert at Pro Football Reference

Mathison at Pro Football Reference Monsieurdl mon talk-mon contribs 15:43, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mathison didnt start the two games, he only played in them.--Yankees10 15:46, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ferragamo was benched in 1985, allowing for Mathison to start. My bad on Hobert- the chart didn't line up properly. Monsieurdl mon talk-mon contribs 15:49, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah Mathison started, my bad, it was Hobert who didnt start the two games he played in.--Yankees10 15:50, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Cassel 2015[edit]

Should we consider Matt Cassel "starting" the very first play for the Bills, even though it was a trick play with Tyrod Taylor lining up as WR? Does the NFL consider this as a "start" or not, and if so, then technically he should remain. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 22:14, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We'll know as soon as NFL.com updates there bio's. I saw places on Twitter that says it counts as a start but who knows.--Yankees10 22:22, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
They are officially counting it as a start, hmm. Even so, I still don't think we should be listing Cassel as the "present" starter. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 22:26, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
