Sydenham and Norwood Junction

[edit]

I reverted the changes as this is the planned route of this part of the London Overground, with some services terminating at Crystal Palace and others at West Croydon. The way it displayed made the line and services incomplete. Simply south (talk) 16:39, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This could be a browser issue; I see two complete disconnects on this version, hence why I inserted joining sections to make the line contiguous. What browser are you using (see template talk for allied issues) --AlisonW (talk) 16:46, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
IE, you? Simply south (talk) 16:49, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it is. In MSie it lines up, in Firefox it is *way* off. Bu**er. --AlisonW (talk) 16:55, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yay! I've reworked it again after the comment by user:Pyrotec and I now get it to view fine in both Firefox and MSie. Confirm? --AlisonW (talk) 18:12, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Confirmed - Template works under both Firefox (2.0.0.9) and MS IE (7.0.5730.11).Pyrotec (talk) 20:13, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TfL National Rail boundary

[edit]

I removed these markers, partly because they were odd things to have on the map, and partly because they weren't necessarily in the right place. They should be between the ELL and NR platforms at New Cross Gate, and the situation beyond Dalston Junction is debatable given the recent decision to give the ELL its own platforms and track.

Also, the depot is shown in the wrong place, but I can't see an easy way to fix it; it should be roughly on the horizontal bit labelled as the flyover, and certainly isn't east of the tracks. --Mr Thant (talk) 01:28, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Cross Gate revisions

[edit]

Application to Lewisham Council includes a PDF of the submitted plans; includes separation of the ELL from main line, plus another has artists impressions of the flyover bridge (pages 7 & 8). --AlisonW (talk) 23:16, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shoreditch to GEML

[edit]

Should this formerly important link (e.g. Liverpool St to Brighton on LBSC) be included? --Old Moonraker (talk) 11:03, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its already included. Simply south (talk) 18:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is it? --Old Moonraker (talk) 18:32, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the link ran along the NLL then branched off at Dalston and ran down to Broad Street, i think, which was situated next to Liverpool Street. Simply south (talk) 18:39, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, this one. --Old Moonraker (talk) 19:47, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I do stand corrected. Could you provide the date in which occurred and was removed? Otherwise, go ahead. Simply south (talk) 20:22, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's done—thanks User:AlisonW. The dates were 1876 to 1966. --Old Moonraker (talk) 21:07, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great Eastern Street Viaduct

[edit]

Didn't the Great Eastern Street Viaduct go into Broad Street? --Old Moonraker (talk) 14:43, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. Thanks User:Kevin Steinhardt. --Old Moonraker (talk) 15:46, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oops my mistake - wrong line, sorry. Cnbrb (talk) 22:46, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@Useddenim: According to OpenStreetMap, the Northern City Line and Victoria line cross the ELL and NLL perpendicularly at Highbury & Islington without completely crossing over each other, so the current diagram is inaccurate. Is the best way to show this interchange diagonally (  (umvSTR3+1), in tunnel beneath ELL and NLL) or horizontally (  (umtvSTRq) with an INTq to the right of the NLL)? @Jc86035: Is this what you had in mind? Useddenim (talk) 00:38, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Useddenim: Yes, something like that. I'll replace it in the diagram. Thanks. Jc86035 (talk) Use {{re|Jc86035}}

renaming template

[edit]

Would this template be better named as "East London Line"? Given that the ELL extensions have long been completed - and the template shows a accurate route map of the line?Turini2 (talk) 22:52, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
