Masculine for Male, Feminine for Female; Need Help Editing the Template

[edit]

This template consistently refers to "male" and "female" versions of titles. Male and female are identifiers of biological sex, not of grammatical gender, and should be replaced by masculine and feminine, respectively, in the template. I have tried to do that, but evidently I don't know how, as my changes to the template do not seem to affect the wording the template produces on Wiki pages. If anybody can help me make these changes effectively, I'll be grateful. J. D. Crutchfield | Talk 21:14, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why is "abolition" not propagating?

[edit]

I recently changed the main template message, which was quickly picked up by (i.e. propagated to) the individual examples. However, when I soon changed "abolishing" to "abolition" that change did not propagate. Why is that? Dhtwiki (talk) 00:44, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
