Italics

[edit]

Is the italicisation of the town names standard? Looks very strange. Seasider53 (talk) 20:59, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seasider53 I don't know - I had it with the names of the villages/towns etc, as that was in black, it seemed to morph into the blue of the wikilinks. Was unsure - I tried the town names using the <small> template, but that looked odd too. I assume we need the names, otherwise people may wonder where The Black Swan is, especially for the ones named Moorcock Inn and New Inn, as they are in at least two locations. More than happy to change the format to suit whatever is best. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 21:07, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have taken them out with just one edit, *if* they need to go back in, they can with one edit. Do we need to wikilink the places? The joy of all things (talk) 21:11, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, I think that would make it less clear to readers. Looks fine now. Seasider53 (talk) 21:19, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
