I noticed that GreenC's latest edit was missing the update date. Even if it's a small link fix, the "last update" should be changed if editors make any changes to it.
Also, make the deprecation message collapsible if possible, as the long message makes the template slightly larger than the versions before IABot's talk page posts were disabled. Ijoe2003 (talk) 01:17, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to change because it is used on nearly 1 million pages, I don't think changing the update date is necessary for that previous URL change. Also the collapsible some people have strong opinions like it should be collapsed by default, or not by default. Anyway I don't want to get involved with this many pages. But I'll leave the edit request open in case anyone else wants. -- GreenC01:46, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: It is unclear why this template has a "last update" note. I did not see an explanation of that text on this page (added in 2018). I read the linked discussion, which I did not find illuminating regarding the "last update" note.
I think the note could simply be removed, or at least changed only when there is a substantive change to the template. The most recent edit changed a link, not anything substantive regarding the meaning or content of the template, so I wouldn't consider that an update. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:04, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can somebody please remove /iabot from the URLs as it was accidentally not removed in response to one of the above edit requests, causing them to break.
They should both be like [https://iabot.wmcloud.org/index.php?page=[…].
