Brigadier General Dato' Seri Tengku Baharuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah (born 20 December 1976) is a member of the Terengganu royal family who is the Tengku Sri Temenggung Raja. He is the youngest son of Sultan Mahmud of Terengganu and half-brother of Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu.

Early life and education

Tengku Baharuddin was born on 20 December 1976 in Terengganu. He is the son of the late Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, Sultan of Terengganu and Cik Khadijah.

Tengku Baharuddin obtained a diploma in Hotel Management from the Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC) in 1994 before continuing his bachelor's degree in Tourism Business and Finance (Marketing) at the University of De Montfort, United Kingdom in 1996.[1]

Career

Tengku Baharuddin is the Director of several Group Company Groups and is also a member of the Private Company Board of Directors. He was the director of Haison Resource Bhd from 2008 to 2016.[2]

Tengku Sri Temenggung Raja

Tengku Baharuddin is the current Tengku Sri Temenggung Raja. In his royal capacity, he represented his elder brother, the Sultan of Terengganu at the formal installation ceremony of Sultan Abdul Halim as the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2012 and at the installation ceremony of Sultan Nazrin Shah as the 35th Sultan of Perak in 2015.
