Contributions

[edit]

I edited and revised the Child labour in Bangladesh article. I added a "Definitions" section and an "Initiatives against Child Labor" section. I restructured the "Prevalence and Impact" section by breaking it into two sections: "Causes" and "Prevalence and Impact". I also expanded the "See also" section and the "References" section to increase more resources to the topic. I felt that these revisions were necessary to provide a more comprehensive coverage of the topic.

I am currently working on editing the Housing Segregation article. I want to revise and restructure the content so that it will increase in both quality and importance ratings. The article currently belongs to WikiProject United States History and WikiProject Discrimination. I feel that the current article lacks depth of information as well as use of reliable references.

I am proposing the addition of a "Causes of housing segregation" section, an "Effects of housing segregation" section, and an "Initiatives against housing segregation" section. I feel these sections are important additions that will provide a more holistic view of the topic. I want to restructure the current "History of housing discrimination section" by splitting it into two sub-sections: "Legislation" and "Government agencies". I also plan on expanding the "References" section to increase more reliable and scholarly sources to the topic.

My goal is to improve the quality of this article by increasing comprehensive coverage through the citation of scholarly resources such as peer-reviewed journal articles, published books, and articles from academic journals. I welcome any feedback, comments, and suggestions about my course of action and the edits I plan on making. I also would appreciate additional references to scholarly sources pertaining to this topic.
