This user is quite sceptical towards WP (to put it more precise, towards the way things often go in practice, not towards its great idea) and especially dislikes verbose talks, redundance, hyper-wikifying, narrowmindedness, clubs, lies, lack of good humor (and even logging in). This user's IP is 213.47.146.118 until further notice.

I come from Vienna, Austria, and my christian name is Wolfgang.

I please ask to respect this page as an Almost-No-Talk-Page: Please use, whenever practicable, talk pages of articles I edited.

In case you feel the urgent desire to directly contact me, please consider using email before adding a new topic by clicking here.

Please note: In any case, native English speakers are more than welcome to correct expression and orthografic shortcomings of my contributions to really "English" English ;)) -- even in talks. Such would help me to improve on my written English. Thanks, w.

My opinion on Talk pages

[edit]

To me, they rather are (or should be) well structured "kind-of-pinboards", where irrelevant or outdated information should be allowed to be hidden or even eliminated, in order to allow new contributors to focus on points which r.e.a.l.l.y still are to be discussed as easily as possible. This might hopefully prevent "Talk pages" being turned into "Chat pages". -- any IP. 14:35, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Caesar Cardini (Cesare Cardini) 1896-1956.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Caesar Cardini (Cesare Cardini) 1896-1956.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:06, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to have been a bug: It was-uploaded-for + is-used-on Caesar_Cardini, exactly as quoted in the file description. --any IP. (talk) 16:07, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Caesar Cardini (Cesare Cardini) 1896-1956.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Stifle (talk) 10:32, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
