Assalamu alaikum, I am a Bashkir studying Bashkir history, linguistics, culture and traditions of my nation. Also, I study other Turkic languages (Oghuz, Karluk and Kipchak) Languages, I study Farsi, I can write in Old Bashkir and Ottoman languages. I am working on a project of Bashkir Latin alphabet, Bashkir dictionary on the Glosbe platform, and promote Bashkir and Turkic history.
From Old Bashkir باشقرد, from Proto-Turkic *baĺč (“main.”) and Proto-Turkic *kūrt (“wolf.”).
