Hello and welcome to my Wikipedia page. I currently am a first year student at Everett community college and I would like to become a Physical Therapist. I enjoy watching and playing soccer, but the whole reason I became interested in Physical therapy is because I tore my ACL playing soccer, so I mostly watch. I also enjoy bowling and was on my high school bowling team that place 3rd in state last year. I also currently work at Target and I very much enjoy my job and my coworkers.

I am very interested in the citation side of wikipedia and doing researching using the links that other people have found. I can very much see myself in the future writing and editing pages on environmental things or just science based topics because that is what I enjoy learning about and educating others about as well. I can see myself keeping up my page for a while in the future because I enjoy learning.

Article Critique

I went to Cascade high school and I am now an alumni, so I believe that this page should accurately represent the school I went to. I went through the Everett Washington Wikipedia page and saw that there was a list of high schools here in Everett and so I was interested to see what my high schools page would look like. So, of course, I visited the Cascade High School (Everett, Washington) page, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: Its lack of citations, lack of information about the actual school, and its lack of updates.

Lack of citations

This page claims many things without citing anything. For example, none of the athletics listed are cited when there is a clear list of the 4A teams on the bottom of the page, and they could have easily linked the actual school webpage to show that as well. The only things that are citied are 2 out of the 7 notable alumni and the introduction to what Cascade is.

Lack of information

There is a lot more that could be written about this school because it is a big help to the community and the only information given is a summary of the high school, notable alumni, and what sports are offered to play there. There are more notable things that our school does, for example, there is a food drive that feeds around 160 families in the Everett area for the holidays along with presents for Christmas, but that is not mentioned anywhere. Also, all of our sport state championships and mentions should be put in there.

Lack of updates

Although the last edit was made in March of this year, the edit was to the MLB information on a notable alumni, not anything about the actual school information. Seeing that people come to this page for information on the high school, it should be updated. For example, at the bottom it lists the teams that are also in our 4A division, but it lists Snohomish Panthers as a team that we play. Snohomish high school moved down to 3A and Glacier Peak moved up to 4A about 2 years ago.

Summary

In summary, this page doesn't have much to it besides sports and notable alumni, when there is a lot more that goes into a high school. Also, most of the information is not cited at all and there needs to be more citations in general. This page could use a pick me up for sure. Also, I posted on the talk page about a change that should be made.
